How do I get prepaid long distance for son in jail in Florida?
My son has been in jail for a week and has been calling me collect. Tonight a message came on saying he had reached 95% of his limit to make collect calls and he needs to get a prepaid calling card.
He is in Leon County Jail in Florida. Does he get the card or do we get the card? I am confused.
Call the Leon County Jail and inquire about getting him a prepaid card. I’m sure they will give you the number to call. I did this for a wayward son in jail, too, and finally told him to start writing cause those collect calls add up quickly$$..or call once a week. I finally got him a $50 prepaid card (with his money) to use. Whatever was left over when he got out, they returned to me via check.
